Accept and Share Your Greatness

Two appointments this week (and keep in mind it is only Wednesday) for two very different reasons, with two very different people, had similar discussions – Is humility lost when we are aware of our gifts/strengths/talents? So, let’s take a deeper look for just a minute.
Each of us carries our own cool toolkit, consisting of unique abilities, our own brand specialty, so to speak. So the question might be, “Does demonstrating them lean toward bragging?”
Well, let’s just put it out there – for some, it is a way to set themselves apart as being superior. And, these individuals lean in to this perceived superiority. But these are the few. The noisy, but the few.
For the rest of us, these gifts are meant to be shared. No bones about it. We have them for a reason. And, guess what, humans are all gifted with that special something, unique to them, and that means ALL. Now, that is not to say, that folks always recognize their own beauty in what they have to offer the world, but it is still there. Waiting to make an appearance.

If you don’t recognize your gift, dig deeper - it is there. If you know what it is, accept it and then pass it out. Be bold. Share your greatness. Shine bright. Others benefit when you bestow the part of you that is exceptional.
