At the Table

Even with these posts, I spend a maximum of 15 minutes, daily, on Facebook. It is not a statement on the pros or cons of the social app. It is simply a personal choice.
Here’s what I’ve noticed - A boatload of hysterical memes, inspirational quotes, touching stories, personal COVID-19 updates on friends, family, and acquaintances, and a whole lot of emotion, from despair to anger to forgiveness to love and everything else in between.
And all of them are absolutely appropriate.
Here’s the thing about our wide-ranging emotions. We have them for a reason. All of them. Even the ones that make us or others uncomfortable. So, yes, they are normal.

And, there’s room at the table for each and every one of them. So, honor them and give them the space they deserve. And throughout your day, decide the seating arrangement as to which should be seated at the head of the table and when.
