Emotional Energy

When we think about things that energize us, make us feel alive, have us feeling 20 years younger, we are usually referring to emotional energy. And the spectacular thing about emotional energy is that we can create it all by our little lonesome. There is nothing required other than doing something that makes us feel content, happy, rewarded, pleased, satisfied, and so on.


So, what are some ways for us to generate some of that energy, naturally:


1. Put on your thinking cap. Learn something new. It can help several influencers such as your mental acuity, your physical ability, your emotional health and/or your spiritual longings?

2. “Shake Your Groove Thing.” When you move, endorphins can come into play. And, oh by the way, they are also natural pain relievers produced by your body.

3. Kick it up. As in do less. Take a break.

4. Connect. Healthy relationships keep us healthy and happy.



We can’t create energy, but we can certainly increase it. And emotional energy is a commodity that we can utilize to help us live more energetic, full lives.
