Evergreen

Leaves have begun to drop in ever-increasing rapidity. The sun-loving deciduous trees are beginning to shed their glory. Views not seen for many, many months are beginning to peak out and show their stuff.

And then there are the mighty evergreens, standing tall in all their grandeur. And they will remain so. Sturdy, beautiful and ever-so alive even during the harshest weather.

All of us have times in life when everything feels a bit colorless, a bit cold. Times when situations and/or people feel like a long, hard winter.

But you get through it. Sometimes a bit worn, but you recover. And that is your evergreen story. Hold on to it. Don’t forget it.
