It is so amazing how someone can take a single idea and turn it into something spectacular. Whether it be an invention, a book, a way of living or an artistic endeavor. The talent of human beings is breathtaking. But it is curious how many, with incredible ideas, let them slip away. It can be for a number of reasons: Additional capital, time, or education are some of them. And then there is the matter of confidence.
The first three are known as exterior barriers. They are very real challenges that may take a bit of planning, among other things, in order to get things moving. The last one, confidence, is a whole other matter. This is an inner barrier or challenge – and is usually tied to emotions such as fear, dread, apathy, guilt, etc.

But something to keep in mind when you have an idea swirling around in your head, but you aren’t moving on it - recognize what is going on. For example, maybe you’re a little scared. It’s okay. But then ask yourself what can serve as your catalyst to help you take one small step toward realizing your idea, dream, or goal. Because sometimes it only takes a single match to make beautiful fireworks.
