Happy World
“The purpose of life is to be happy.” Thus say-eth a present-day prophet, the Dalai Lama (at least in my humble opinion, he is a prophet). And now comes in the cacophony of, “Seriously?!?!?” How can happiness be the main thing? Aren’t there more altruistic ideals we should be striving for?
Yes, there are, truly, so many things worth doing: imperative tasks, noble causes, projects worth finishing, rainforests worth saving. So many important things to do that aren’t necessarily associated with our happiness.

But here’s something to chew on, what we HAPPILY give to the world is possibly the greatest service we could provide the world. Because “If a person is happier, [their] family is happier; if families are happy, neighborhoods and nations will be happy.” Again, wisdom from his holiness, the Dalai Lama.
The invitation, then, is to simply be happy. And then sit back in awe at the magnificence this creates.
