Indecision

So, raise your hands if you know what the opposite of indecision is? Good job. How many said decisiveness? An awesome answer, but let’s challenge that a bit. What about the idea that the opposite of indecision is confidence?

Hmmmm, you say?!?!? So, here’s the thinking. There are some who make decisions all day long. Some of those decisions they make are mind blowingly (is that even a word?) brilliant. Others are a bit tepid. And yet, others they make are seen as colossal failures. Granted, this is all opinion.

But think about it. A decisive individual is one who doesn’t stay stuck on a solution or next move. They simply go with what they know and make a call. If the call doesn’t provide the results they were hoping for or anticipating, then what a monumental opportunity to learn. And with that learning comes growth.

So, what is the opposite of indecision? Yup! Confidence. Go out and be confident and let the chips fall where they may. Because the worst case scenario could turn out to be the best-case scenario – learning and growing.
