It’s official. The Holidays are over. January’s calendar looks like a giant black hole of nothingness compared to December’s. You may even be feeling a bit sluggish, bored and/or lonely. Guess what? This is not unusual. Going from full throttle to a screeching halt can be a bit unsettling for anyone.
Or maybe the scenario is just the opposite, the holidays were a time to rest, relax and respite. But now you are back with a To-Do list that needs to be To-Done….yesterday. Anxiety, distraction, overwhelmed-ness may kick in. Guess what? This is not unusual. Going from chillin’ and enjoying the gift of time to having to move at the speed of light can be quite a lot to undertake.
Either way - You are in very good company.
And, now may be the time to think about what made the holiday season feel ‘right.’ Take a little inventory and see what you did or didn’t do. What would it look like if you found ways to incorporate some of those good times into your life? If being the social butterfly hit a sweet spot for you, how do you keep the party rolling with friends and family in 2019? If relaxation was the highlight of the holiday, what would relaxing look like if you did it weekly. Or even better, every day.

The key is to keep it going.
