Look Within

Relationships end. Friends move. People pass on. We drift apart.


Sometimes it can feel like we’ve lost that perfect someone who always knew what to say. Or your person may no longer be able to be there in the manner you are used to – or even at all. With this, there might be a bit of mourning with the loss of that special someone. Not always a pleasant thought. But it can happen.


But not all is lost, because one of your best and constant sources of support, encouragement, love, and laughter is….YOU! Yes, YOU! You have everything you need within you. You can be your own best friend.



Here are some ways this can play out:


· Allow yourself to make mistakes. Mistakes serve as our reminder that we are human.

· Say, YES, to you. Listen to your mind, body, and spirit. Do that which serves you best.

· Say THANKS to yourself. You are a once in a lifetime original. Acknowledge that.

· Speak to yourself like you are one of your most favorite people. Be your own cheerleader.


This could be extremely challenging for some. But you may want to at least consider it. By doing so you could alter that internal dialogue you have about yourself into something much more powerful.
