Sometimes everyone hits a rut or bump in the road. It usually has us feeling less than stellar about ourselves or some part of our life.
And even if we are at the top of our game, we may want to consider choosing a personal mantra – a short, motivational saying – to keep in our back pocket when we find our fortunes turning in a less than desirable way.
So how does a mantra work? Well, it’s a phrase or saying. Something you state over and over until you actually begin to internalize it. Through repetition, it can be a healthy way to live into your greatness.
It could be something like, “I’ve totally got this.” Or “I’m well on my way.”
Consider creating two or three mantras to pull out whenever you feel the need. Try to avoid the temptation of a saying that someone else has created. Instead, create a reminder that feels appropriate for you.
