Shine

My partner in life has shared the ‘fact’ that clean cars drive better. Apparently, the logic goes, it’s more aerodynamic due to the lack of friction created by dirt. And, I would imagine, the person driving the car is a bit ‘shinier’ because of the pride they feel sitting behind the wheel of such a beauty.

And speaking of shine, it is not just limited to tinsel, pennies, patent leather shoes and cars. When you are authentically living into your purpose and can fearlessly claim ‘this is who I am,’ then you have a bit of shine on you, as well. That willingness to simply do you, unapologetically, but with respect and love, radiates and can be quite infectious.

So, share you. Every morning make that conscious decision to intentionally bring your full self, in all its glory, to every situation. Because when you do that you bring light to challenging situations. You move forward with confidence and integrity. You help illuminate the path for others. You spread the shine. So, shine on, my friends. Shine on!
