Spark

There are absolute days when it feels the best we can do is curl up in bed, cover our heads, and let the world keep rotating without our participation. And when you do decide to get up and out, all you feel is the frigid air push you up against a wall. There is no light to be found or felt.
We could give these kinds of days as many names as there are people. You probably have one in your head right now. But the central theme may go something like this: It’s dark – literally, figuratively, metaphorically.
And this is when it is time for a little light to shine. Grab it from whatever source you can. It doesn’t have to be anything huge. Just a spark will do. Because when you can’t see or feel the light, that is when you need to create it. And when you do, you’ll be providing a bit of shine for another who is probably missing it, as well.

Pass that spark forward.
