Take Credit

Nobody likes a sore loser. Especially when we are speaking about another person or team. However, when it comes to our losses, we can sometimes dismiss that pithy little saying. Go figure. We, humans, can be quite contradictory.


Yes, losing can ‘feel’ sore, for sure. It can be a definite pain in the backside, at times. But this particular type of pain is not suffering. It is very temporary if you allow yourself to release it.


Granted it can take a bit of practice to switch the win/lose mindset to one of opportunity and growth. But, maybe not as long as you think. In fact, think about a time you experienced a huge loss. Now, think about what you learned about yourself or the situation. It really is all about perception. How you choose to see things.



So, how about we forego the pain completely. Instead, embrace the loss and take complete credit for your wins AND losses.
