Tell Me What You Want

Take a minute and think about a long-term goal you’re either working towards now or anticipate working towards somewhere down the road. Maybe it’s running faster, or fitting into a certain pair of jeans, or going back to school.
Got it? Fab!
Now, bring your shovel and dig deep. Take a cold, hard look at that goal. Dissect it. Flip it on its head. Marinate on it. Unpack it.
Now ask yourself - Are you truly chasing the 9-minute mile or the size of the jeans?
Could be. Or maybe not.
Meaning, more time than not, the goals we strive to meet often disguise themselves in deeper desires. A status we want. A feeling we crave. Attention we desire.

Peel back the layers of the onion. Reveal your true hopes and dreams. Because when you can uncover your motivator(s), you can then begin to determine what it is you really want (#tellmewhatyouwantwhatyoureallyreallywant).
