Truly Scrumptious

“Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” is a classic movie from back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. The song “Truly Scrumptious” refers to all the glorious sweets and treats in Truly’s fathers’ candy-making mega-manufacturing building. But it also refers to the character, Truly Scrumptious, as well.

Each of us go through our lives saying things and doing things that don’t always represent our true character (unlike Truly – insert week and nod)). At times, we beat ourselves up over an action we did or did not take – over words we did or did not speak – instead of remembering we are incredible beings with infinite possibilities, infinite opportunities.

The thing to remember is that nothing we do or say changes who we TRULY are. Because the essence of who we are is powerful, capable, and beautiful - no matter. So, maybe we need to lean more into our Truly Scrumptious-ness and believe in our own goodness. Now that is a delicious thought.
